Chattanooga is home to many local ice cream parlors. One of them is the Ice Cream Show.  This is a unique place that is only found in Chattanooga. It is located at 129 Walnut Street right next to the walking bridge.  

 

What makes this ice cream parlor unique is not the flavors of ice cream, but the toppings. Instead of your typical ice cream parlor where you have multiple flavor options at the Ice Cream show it’s all about the toppings. The Ice Cream Show uses Mayfield frozen yogurt or ice cream as their base. After you decide which flavor you want that’s when the fun begins; picking the toppings. There is over 17,000 possible combinations that can be made with the amount of toppings that are served here. There are 40 fresh ingredients that can be used to personalize your ice cream.

 

You can pick and choose whatever you want and they will create your own personal flavor within minutes.

 

“The first time I came in I was a little unsure because I saw the only flavors were chocolate and vanilla. Then I realized how many different toppings you can choose from and they mix it into the ice cream which is great! I get chocolate with Reese’s and brownies and it’s delicious” Sherry King said, who moved to Chattanooga three years ago with her husband and two kids. This has become a local spot that her and her family come to when they are in the mood for a little frozen treat. 

 

The Ice Cream Show is truly a one of a kind ice cream parlor. From the several different toppings, the convenient location and wonderful staff it is the cherry on top of Chattanooga.
